Cool map! I like the specific details. It's interesting that most of Wal-Mart's products come from China, but it would be cool to see where else they come from.
wow good job. you have done a ton of research and have some really specific information down. I enjoyed reading the details about where it opened up new stores and other relevant information. Good job. -Maria G.
I like this map a lot. It's simple but interesting. I didn't know Walmart would open its stores in so many countries, even in South America and Europe. I also wouldn't imagine that Walmart would open its store in Japan. The funny thing is, the only place Walmart outsources from is China. This is really insightful. We are all coming to terms with the fact that huge corporations are investing in labor and production in China. This map clearly points out that labor in China is so cheap and companies benefit so much from this, that the country is becoming the workshop of the world. I also like how you put in facts that are basic and precise, very easy to comprehend. good job. More pictures would be nice though!
Simple and with great details. I thought it was interesting that not many "green lines" go into Europe. Seems like European markets are not focused as much by Wal-Mart, compared to many other corporations. Nice job!
